Well, day two of rehearsal has come and gone. I’m not sure what more to say. We polished our Polish, smoothed out some rough musical sections, and improved our sub-vocal consonants. Things seem to be coming along well, from my somewhat limited (and biased) perspective as a choir member. However, we’ve still got much work to do.

A personal highlight of the day was Mr. Lloyd’s devotional on how even our rehearsal should be approached with an attitude of thoughtfulness and worship. Very thought provoking, and valuable to keep in front of us when the day begins to feel long.

End of day activities commenced shortly after 7, and provided a lovely alternative to…well…sitting and rehearsing. Walks were taken, Spikeball and other games were played, and yes, there was even some personal rehearsing going on.

As we go into our final day of rehearsing, my hope is that we can continue to improve our ability to communicate the texts that we are singing, both in terms of Polish pronunciation, and musical interpretation.

Thank you all for your prayers and interest in what’s going on over here in Poland! It is very much appreciated.
