Wednesday, August 3.
We leave our four night host’s and head to Olsztyn, where we split up and tour the town for the afternoon. Some went to the lake and some walked the streets and visited coffee shops and Greek restaurants. We then had a 6 o’clock concert in Olsztyn at a cultural center ,the last concert of our northern tour. The acoustic was good, and the audience was interactive and very appreciative. After the concert 3 dear old ladies expressed their heartfelt thanks and took pictures with some of us. We then had an amazing supper of meat soup, salads of many colors and tastes, and Polish piggies in blankets…delicious! Also, in true polish fashion, cakes, cakes, and more cakes! With full bellies, we got back on the bus and had a 3-hour drive back to Gustav’s for the night…a late night before the first day of recording!
